Lyrics

1. I was so far away from the love of the cross

Life was broken and in my shame I forgot Your grace

But You came close to me, touched my poor hardened heart

Then restore me to stand again to love You for evermore

Keep me under the shadow Your wings of love my strength

I belong I'm precious in Your sight A chosen child of God

Keep me under the shadow Your wings of love my strength

I belong I'm precious in Your sight A chosen child of God

2. Forgetting former things not dwelling on the past

Placing behind me all that' gone and all that I have done

You release river flow in the dry desert place

I lift my eyes to see the Lord I find He makes all things new

Keep me under the shadow Your wings of love my strength

I belong I'm precious in Your sight A chosen child of God

Keep me under the shadow Your wings of love my strength

I belong I'm precious in Your sight A chosen child of God

9  "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

10  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

11  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!  (Mattew 7:9-11)
