I used to read a novel of “The Pilgrim’s Progress” and get touched a lot by it, but got a chance again to watch again because animated version of it recently came out:)

Even though the book implies more story than movie, I think the movie itself is enough to deliver the message that I want to deliver. For those of you who haven’t read the book yet, I recommend to take some time and read:)

In the middle of movie, the main character, “Chritian”, witnesses the glory of God and there was a heart-blowing background music coming on at the moment, which is this hymn, “Be Thou My Vision”

1.Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought by day or by night
Waking or sleeping Thy presence my light

2.Be thou my wisdom and Thou my true word
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord
Thou my great Father, I , Thy true son
Thou in me dwelling and I with Thee one

3.Riches I heed not nor man's emptly praise
Thou mine inheritance now and always
Thou and thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven my treasure Thou are

4.High King of heaven my victory won
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun
Heart of my own heart whatever befall
Still be my vision O Ruler of all

This song is a hymn poem attached to the tune of traditional Irish folk song. Since it has a vibe of folk song, I made a new intro using pentatonic code:)

I arranged it to “instrumental song” with melody and it will be keyed up from D key to E key.

The song consists of

Intro – First verse – Second verse - Interlude / Key up – Third verse – Bis – Ending.

Song Form은

Intro - 1절 - 2절 - Interlude / Key up - 3절 - Bis - Ending
