On My Way (Kim Chaewon) (with lyrics and chords)-Le Sserafim

A cover of the song by Alan Walker and Sabrina Carpenter by Kim Chaewon of Le Sserafim.

Kim Chaewon lowered the key to D major from E major.

The track uses major and minor chords D A Bm7 G5 F♯m and non-harmonic F♯ with an inverted variant F♯7/A♯. Notice the ellipsis (omitted chord Bm) in the last measure of the chorus (I'm on my way).

I doubled note values to make sightreading easier for beginners. The track isn't recorded in the 2/2 time.

"On My Way" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. The piano part by Kim Chaewon's pianist is swinged. Accent strong beats.

Learn the left hand first and avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning. Patience is a virtue. Otherwise you will fail immediately and abandon the score.

The left-hand texture is thick and maintains movement with broken-chord pattern.

The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Kim Chaewon: a predominant vocal style is legato.
