Better Days (Easy version with lyrics and chords)-Zach Bryan

Featuring John Mayer.

Hi, I am Rita. I transcribe sheet music since 2007. All my sheet music are accurate but simple, beginner-level transcriptions with lyrics (singing is good for mental health). Request any popular song in any genre and language.

The track is transcribed in the original key, E Major, and uses basic major and minor chords E G♯m A and C♯m B A E.

The vocals are typed using a treble clef with the numeral 8 below it 𝄠 (a suboctave clef). Play the right hand one octave lower than written.

"Better Days" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. The guitar part is swinged. John Mayer sings with a soft swing. Accent strong beats but do it softly.

The left-hand texture is thick and makes great use of the bass register. Play any pattern (chords, arpeggios, tremolo, ostinato).

The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Zach Bryan and John Mayer: a predominant vocal style is legato.

Focus on precise rhythm in the rap part. It is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.

Notice fermata (𝄐).

The aesthetic value of a track suffers due to monotonity.
