看得見海的街道 (for Violin and Piano)-久石讓

A refined duo arrangement of A Town with an Ocean View from Kiki’s Delivery Service, composed by Joe Hisaishi. Beyond the well-known opening melody, the full structure of the original soundtrack is faithfully preserved. The solo instrument carries the lyrical main theme, while the piano recreates the rich orchestral counter-melodies and harmonic textures with remarkable detail.

Numerous orchestral inner lines have been carefully adapted into the piano accompaniment, maintaining the color and atmosphere of the original score. The result is a vibrant yet intimate concert piece, ideal for recitals, auditions, and performance videos seeking warmth and cinematic charm.

Positions required include Violin up to 4th position, Viola up to 1st position, and Cello up to 7th position. The cello part involves higher register shifting, while the overall writing ensures natural balance and expressive phrasing between the instruments.
