The song Stefania with which the Kalush Orchestra represents Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 this year has long been a real hit and has been at the top of the European charts for many weeks in a row. The leader of the band Oleg Psyuk wrote and dedicated this song to his mother Stefania, which is what is sung in the song: "Стефанія, мамо, мамо" ("Stefania, mam, mam"). However, now the lines of this song have become especially important for many Ukrainians, they are perceived as a motherland, which is now fighting for its right to be independent and sovereignty.
