Anticipation

Secret Garden  

This song comes fifth in Secret Garden's "Winter Poem" album. Rolf Løvland, composer from the northernland Norway, described when he wrote this song: "On the greyest morning you wake up to the first day of snow and welcome the transformation of a dark landscape into a magical, white scene... with joy and anticipation." And what I heard was the call of spring, the very first implication of awakening. Perhaps open interpretation is the unique charm of music without words.
