M. Clementi - Sonatinas Op. 36 Nos. 1–6

🎼 About the Collection

Clementi’s Op. 36 opens a world of bright musical conversation, tender singing, and spirited movement, offering varied expressions of Classical charm within approachable keyboard writing.

Designed with musical progress in mind, these sonatinas connect the pleasure of playing complete musical ideas with the discovery of increasingly varied textures and expressive possibilities.

✨ Sheet Music Highlights

The repertoire brings scales, broken chords, articulation, and melodic balance into musical context, allowing technical foundations to develop alongside an ear for phrasing and tone.

Contrasting characters across the works also support broader musical understanding, helping students relate tempo, accompaniment, and harmonic direction to the expression of each passage.

🎹 Performance & Recommendation Points

Choose material according to the player’s current strengths and learning goals, and establish a comfortable tempo in which the melody and its supporting voices remain distinct.

Return to familiar passages with new listening priorities, focusing in turn on articulation, balance, and phrase direction so that repeated study continues to deepen musical understanding.

Have a happy performance!
