Song commentary
This is a standard jazz song popularly known to many people.
Consisting of romantic Harmony and melody, this song is representative of the Frank Sinatra version and the Julie London version.
When I think of this song, the first thing I think of is Julie London's Bossa Nova version
When I first started studying jazz, the genre that I listened to and liked was Bossa Nova music that combines elements of Latin and jazz.
This genre, called Latin jazz, is the kind of music that got me interested in Latin American music.
I played with my love and interest in Latin jazz.
About Arrangement
It is not limited to Bossa Nova, but has been arranged with various elements of Latin music.
The solo part of this song is a double time feel.
The first half proceeds calmly, but the second half ends the song passionately with my favorite Montuno style.
