The arrangement is in the original key of C, just like the original version. This applies to both the performance and karaoke versions, which are distributed separately by each provider. The song length is also true to the original.
Part 1 mainly covers the melody. The intro features a piano phrase. Play the chords slightly slowly, with a relaxed feel, and aim for a rich, resonant sound.
Different chord types are used in measures 1–4 and 5–8. Feel free to choose the version you prefer.
For the melody section, aim for a performance that brings out the musical expression and emotion of the piece.
The section marked “G” features a beautiful, canon-like melody. Please enjoy playing that part as well!
Part 2 is mainly backing. It includes whole notes, power chord strumming, and harmonies, providing a good variety. Be mindful of accents and aim for a lively, rhythmic performance.
Try referring to the available performance tracks and YouTube tutorial videos as you play.
