This piano piece “Camellia” has as its motifs, the red camellia flower which is the composer’s personal favorite and the flower’s meaning for ‘I love you, only you.’ The flower’s symbolism for fidelity and the way the flower retains its scarlet beauty even in the cold winter while it withers, strongly resemble what Flaming Heart wants to become. A fully bloomed camellia also looks like a beautiful flame as well as a petite heart, which for the pianist acts as a tangible and visual treasure that symbolizes his very own name.

The song itself contains Flaming Heart’s usual dynamic, double melody. The first and second halves are immensely different; first half is delicate and sentimental, with the urge to love everything both tenderly and passionately.
