Though We are Often Faithless and Disloyal (Congregational Worship Arrangement (G, F, Eb keys)) Traditional Hymn (Charles H. Gabriel)

This is an arrangement of the deeply reflective hymn, "Though We are Often Faithless and Disloyal." Structurally, the original hymnal layout relies almost entirely on primary traditional triads (I, IV, V). This simplicity makes it an incredibly versatile canvas for rearrangement, opening the door to various harmonic adaptations.
For instance, expanding the left-hand accompaniment into fluid arpeggios instantly transforms it into a highly lyrical, comforting ballad. However, because the primary goal of this specific score is to fully support congregational singing during main services, I intentionally toned down the arpeggios. Instead, I focused on a firmly grounded, steady pulse to guide the congregation smoothly.
As a performance note, please make sure to keep your left-hand bass touches soft and gentle. Keeping the left-hand volume under control is the absolute key to unlocking the warm, sweet, and comforting harmonic textures built into this reharmonization.
If you prefer this arrangement in a different key, please feel free to leave a comment!
Since this piece is designed explicitly for congregational leading, it is highly melody-driven. Please note that since this is not a traditional four-part harmony score, it is not suitable for choir accompaniment. However, it is absolutely perfect for solo piano accompaniment during church services, or as reflective background music for silent meditation and prayer before worship begins. I created this with smaller churches in mind, hoping a single piano can deliver a profound and abundant worship experience.
