Bass Transcription of Maurice Gibbs' bass part in the studio version of Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees, off their 1977 album "Saturday Night Fever". The touring bassists for the Bee Gees used their fingers on this one. Maurice mimed the part live once, and his positioning centered around the 6/8 frets, however that includes a large shift that is awkward for people learning the song. This one is also originally slightly out of tune from E standard (A440), but this is arranged to follow the studio version and sounds correct when using a retuned track, or altering your tuning to match the studio version.
