curious cuckoo for piano (Sae Taryeong)

Among many kinds of birds mentioned in the text of original tune, Sae Taryeong, Cuckoo is the only bird whose birdcall is directly used in the melody. It was the main focus of attention to establish the character of this short piece at the beginning of composition. The distinctive call of the cuckoo is also used in this piece and the descending chromatic line supports the original tune with inquisitive eyes.
