🗝️ The track is transcribed in the original key A Major.
🔠 Chords are A F♯m Bm C♯m E D.
Alterations to the chord change create harmonic ambiguity and secondary colors.
🎤 The vocals are typed using the 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand at written pitch but sing one octave lower than written. I added the backing lines "It was you who said goodbye" on an ossia stave. The predominant vocal articulation is semi-staccato.
🔢 “Goodbye” is composed with a straight rhythm in the common time. Accent strong beats.
The accompaniment maintains movement with chords tremolo and arpeggios.
