“Feather Sheet Music”
"Feather" has a jazzy feel without having prominent parts of a blues/jazz musical piece. The chords are extended, the rhythm is almost swung, but unnoticeably, the bass is walking but barely could be heard.
Imitate the vocal delivery by Sabrina Carpenter or it won't sound as the song. The vocal part in the first verse is rubato (not precisely rhythmic) and with pitch inflections (slurred notes). All inflected notes should be played very quietly. Some syllables are of an indefinite pitch. A predominant vocal style is semi legato.
Practice "Feather" slowly along with the recording to hear that it is played in simple common time but the harmony chords start upbeat (on the weak beat). If you still can't manage left and right hands playing accurately, ignore the upbeat and simply play the bass note or a chord on the downbeat 1.
"Feather" is transcribed in the original key, A Major, and uses the same three extended chords Bm A F♯m. It is possible the there is no F♯m used at all and the harmony only uses two chords. Extended chords are used to create richer sounds but in this arrengement there is no sense of harmonic progression.
The aesthetic value of a melodic line is achieved through stepwise motion and big skips that gave a simultaneous sense of variety and repetition.
