Waltz For Debby (Original Solo Version (1956)/Bill Evans/Theme Transcription/Reference MIDI)-

From the Bill Evans album "New Jazz Conceptions" (1956)

This is a note-for-note transcription of the complete original performance from Bill Evans’s 1956 debut album.

Important Note: Unlike later trio recordings, this historical first recording was performed as a concise solo piano piece consisting of the theme. This score captures every nuance of Evans’s foundational touch—especially his lyrical inner voicings.

To ensure maximum readability, the rhythmic fluctuations are indicated by a "Rubato" marking, allowing the performer to focus on Evans’s essential harmonic language while applying their own sensitive timing.
