This is the guitar TAB for “The song of praise” by Mr.Children, arranged into a single guitar part.

[How to Read the TAB in This Video]

Normally, when using a capo on the 1st fret, the TAB is written like this:

1st fret → 0 fret

2nd fret → 1st fret

3rd fret → 2nd fret

…

12th fret → 11th fret

This method works well for acoustic guitar TABs that use a lot of open chords, as it’s easier to read.

However, for electric guitar, where higher frets are often used and players rely on fret markers,

this kind of notation can actually make the TAB harder to read.

There are various opinions on this, but in this TAB I’ve chosen the following approach:

1st fret → 0 fret

2nd fret → 2nd fret

3rd fret → 3rd fret

…

12th fret → 12th fret

Only the 1st fret is written as 0; the rest are written as played.

So you won’t see “1st fret” in this TAB.
