Carter Burwell - The Wicked Flee (from the movie “True Grit”)

"The Wicked Flee" is from the 2010 Coen brothers' western movie "True Grit". It is the opening scene music of the movie and the theme music of the character Mattie Ross. It appears several times throughout the movie. Carter Burwell used the hymn "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" published in 1887 in this piece of music. The string in the climax of the original song is very tense and story-feeling.
