Grand Sextour, Op.5-Fétis

A prominent 19th-century Belgian musicologist, critic, and composer, Fétis played a pivotal role in shaping music theory and musicology of his era. Best known for his monumental biographical dictionary, his compositions bridge the elegance of late Classicism with early Romantic warmth. The Grand Sextuor stands out as a rare gem in chamber literature, rich in harmonic texture and featuring the unique combination of piano four-hands and string quartet.
