Solo Guitar Rock: Osamuraisan Arrangement Collection
Vol. 1
Vol. 2
Vol. 3

Gear, guitars and frequently asked questions: details

• Capo3, Drop D tuning, difficulty ★★★. This is quite challenging and not for beginners.
• The mature triple-meter feel includes shuffle passages and also suits a jazzy performance on nylon-string or hollow-body guitar.
• In the opening two-hand tapping passage, the left-hand notes can sound quiet. Tap firmly and connect them with hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides. The “Silhouette” notes in Vol. 1 are also useful.
• For the final tapped harmonics, hold an E chord with the left hand and tap string 1 at fret 12, string 2 at fret 12 and string 3 at fret 13 with the right hand. Angle the tapping finger slightly.
• This arrangement may later appear with commentary in a score collection.
