Animenz’s 7-page solo piano arrangement of Yoko Takahashi’s “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” the opening theme from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It combines a groovy, upbeat left hand with orchestral textures and flowing arpeggios that rise to the piano’s highest C.
