I have arranged Pie Jesu, the fourth movement from Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, for organ. Titled "Merciful Jesus," this piece features a truly beautiful solo in the original work. I have written the text to have the organ accompany the vocal solo. It is a deeply moving piece if performed with a focus on capturing its quiet and serene atmosphere.
