ラブレター(Love Letter)

Here it is - my first arrangement for the YouTube channel. 

This song is kind of ironic - being a love letter, it's not the usual slow and romantic ballad, but a moderate and really rhythmic one, with a lot of brass injections that the polyphony sometimes resembles Baroque counterpoint (though it isn't). To build on this idea, I added a short fugato transition back to the verse to fill up the gap after the climax that would be otherwise quite difficult to be convincing on piano solo. 

Difficulty: 7/10 (Expert)

Despite its moderate tempo and seemingly lack of very fast passages, this song is deceptively difficult. There are a lot of countermelodies that would have tricky fingerings, and some of them is a nightmare to balance. The octave passage around bar 41-43 is also a challenge.
