The instrumental is as close to the original as possible. It took me three days.
I used a vocal remover to transcribe the piano/euphonium parts. In the right hand stave the purple notes are the piano part except for the instrumental bridge and coda where euphonium's notes are written in the vocal stave. Advanced players can play both piano and euphonium in the bridge, but average players need to choose one part to play, the one they like the most.
The track is transcribed in the original key, D Minor, and uses extended and inverted major and minor chords.
Alterations create harmonic ambiguity and secondary colors.
“Lune” is composed with straight rhythm in the common time. Accent strong beats.
Avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning; you will fail immediately and abandon the score.
Alice Duport-Percier's predominant articulation is tenuto. In slurred passages, descending inflections are played diminuendo >, but ascending vocal portamento are played crescendo <. The backing vocals are added on the ossia stave.
The notes in brackets should be barely heard.
Much of the song’s aesthetic value is generated through stepwise motion that reminds of human speech.
