"Presence" is one of the songs that broadened the horizon of Korean CCM. It gathers the hearts of those who long for the deep presence of God at the beginning of worship. Composed by Cho Young-jun, this song proclaims that the presence of God itself is the purpose of worship, beyond any flashy words or complex forms. The cry "Open the heavens" is a spiritual struggle to break down the walls of pride and formality and to long for the Lord's rule. For years, it has served as a channel of life, filling the thirsty hearts of believers in countless Sunday services and prayer meetings.
