[The Story Behind This Song]
Whenever something good happened in my life, I had a habit of telling myself:
“If something this good has happened to me this time, I should be satisfied with this and spend the rest of my life being grateful.”
Rather than expecting something greater from God or dreaming new dreams, I think I often pushed myself to be content with whatever I had already received.
But as I reflected on the story of the wedding at Cana, my perspective began to change.
The wine ran out during the wedding feast, but Jesus turned water into wine. And the master of the feast remarked that the wine brought out later was better than the wine served first.
This story deeply reminded me that God is the One who gives us something even better later, even when we think what we have already received is more than enough.
God does not ask us to stop at “this is enough.” Rather, He invites us to expect His abundance and trust that He has prepared something even better than we could imagine.
I wrote this song with that faith in my heart.
My prayer is that everyone who sings this song will not place limits on what God can do by saying, “This is enough,” but will live with faith and expectation for the better things God has yet to bring.

This arrangement is written for SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass).
Rather than using each voice simply to fill out the harmony, the arrangement is designed so that different parts carry the musical idea and build the harmony throughout the song, creating a rich and dynamic choral texture.
