ℹ️ I put the long Intro in a separate file. I suggest you skip printing it because there is nothing interesting to play.
⚡A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of “City Walls” with its layered vocal and digitally generated inflections.
🗝️ The track is transcribed in the original key B Minor but the harmonic center is not that obvious harmonically.
🎤 The rap vocals are typed circa one octave higher than Tyler Joseph raps.
🔢 “City Walls” is composed with a straight rhythm in the common time. Accent strong beats.
🤚🏼 The left-hand provides an accompaniment. It is my arrangement that grasps the essence of the original instrumental part but doesn't follow it note-to-note.
🖐🏼 The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Tyler Joseph: the predominant articulation is staccato in verses and legato in choruses. I included backing vocals as well, beginners can omit playing it.
⏳Focus on precise rhythm in the rap part. Rap is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
