The track is transcribed in the original key, B Flat Major, and uses a wide array of extended and altered major and minor chords.
Alterations to the chord change create a jazzy feel.
The vocals are typed using the 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand one octave lower than written. I added the second verse from the original solo song on a separate stave. Laufey's verse is very close to the original but one octave higher.
The trumpet solo is included as close to the original as possible.
“The Longest Goodbye (Remix)” is composed with a swinged rhythm in the quadruple time. Accent strong beats.
Avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning; you will fail immediately and abandon the score.
