Like many Måneskin's songs, it has a number of interesting things going on:
"GOSSIP" is played with a straight rhythm notated as 4/4, a time signature containing 4 quarter notes per bar. It is easy to count for beginners.
This rhythm is associated with modern rock music idioms. But be sure not to play in a mechanical way. Strive for a loose and bouncing feel accenting strong beats. Take care to maintain a steady pulse and play along with the recording if you find that the memory eludes you. Practice "GOSSIP" slowly.
The chorus is the biggest part of a song and colored *blue* for your convenience. I notate first and second verses/choruses differently because in modern pop-music they are arranged differently purely for the aesthetic enjoyment of variation.
"GOSSIP" is a song with a polyphonic arrengement — the instrumental part provides notonly a harmony to support the vocal but also its own bass melody. Piano is an instrument that can play a melody and an accompaniment simultaneously.
"GOSSIP" is transcribed in the original *key,* A Minor. The progression is built from a handful of naked basic chords but E and Bm are not from A Minor key. The third chord in the progression changes in the hook from E Major to B Minor to destabilize the melody and make the last chord, A Minor, more anticipated.
One thing to look out for throughout is the use of dynamics. Play as expressively as possible. If some notes prove too difficult to play, simply omit them focusing on emotions instead of sightreading.
Vocal in the original track is relatively rigid and precisely timed, so it produces a well-patterned yet modest melody for the right hand. A predominant vocal style is *staccato*.
