“FAKE IT”
"Fake It" is transcribed in the original key, A Major, and uses basic major and minor chords A E Bm D F♯m.
A chord change creates a meaningful harmonic progression.
The left hand provides with musical texture. "Fake It" is homophonic: harmony supports the vocal line with chords.
The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by IZNA girls finalists: pitch inflections (slurred notes) should be played very softly.
In the rap part focus on precise rhythm. It might be tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
Notice that different girls sings repeated parts differently (with different notes). I don't know why, but it's a recurrent issue for k-pop groups even in official studio releases.
Producers used a step-wise melody (easy to sing) for their main vocalist, Choi Jungeun, and skips (hard to sing) for less-experienced Jeong Saebi. Why?
"Fake It" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. It is easy to count for beginners; accent strong beats.
