“Taylor Swift — How Did It End” Sheet Music
🎹 It is a score for solo piano with no significant technical difficulties. Original lyrics and harmony chords are included in the sheet music.
"How Did It End?" is transcribed in the original key, C Major, and uses basic major and minor chords F Dm Am C G. Notice the ellipsis (omitted arpeggio) in the bar 64.
Please, notice that the vocals are written using a treble clef with the numeral 8 below it 𝄠 (a suboctave clef). This indicates that pitches sound one octave below the written score. Nevertheless, you can play the right hand as written because there will be in place for the left-hand arpeggios. You can omit playing arpeggios in the left hand to play in the original Taylor's low pitches.
Taylor Swift varies vocal delivery from staccato to legato.
"How Did It End?" is played with a swinged rhythm in compound time 12/8. It is hard to count for beginners; accent strong beats to maintain a steady pulse. Practice the left hand first.
