Pathetique 2nd Movement (Piano Sonata No. 8) (for Trumpet (Bb) and Piano)-Ludwig van Beethoven

This arrangement of the second movement from Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 8 “Pathétique” preserves the original structure and musical flow while reimagining the work as a duet for trumpet and piano. The trumpet carries the beautiful and lyrical main melody, while selected notes and chords have been added to the piano accompaniment to create a fuller texture and effectively convey the character of the original. The arrangement brings together Beethoven’s profound lyricism and the warm, expressive sound of the trumpet. The highest note is G5.
