나 가거든 (명성황후 OST) (for Cello and Piano)-조수미

Sumi Jo’s iconic aria “If I Leave” from Empress Myeongseong is presented here in a refined duo arrangement for solo instrument and piano, faithfully preserving the original structure and dramatic flow. The solo instrument assumes the vocal line, unfolding the soaring melody with operatic breadth and lyrical intensity. The piano accompaniment performs the remaining orchestral elements, carefully reflecting the harmonic language and structural tones of the original score to maintain its grand, cinematic resonance. This arrangement is ideal for gala concerts, competition programs, and emotionally powerful recitals seeking a repertoire that bridges classical technique and Korean musical heritage. The required positions extend up to 4th position for violin, 1st position for viola, and thumb position for cello, allowing advanced expressive shaping while remaining idiomatic for string performance.
