🎹 The composition is simple: it only has arpeggios and voice but their pitches clash into each other on keyboard. I uploaded 2 pdfs: duet of voice and piano (but the right hand plays nothing) and solo piano (but the vocal line is transposed one octave up).
🔠 The key is C Major.
A witty chord progression with many non-harmonic chords creates the drama. I used the instrumental version to transcribe the arpeggios as close to the original as possible.
Extended chords were used for jazzy sound.
🎤 I added the backing vocals as well (only in the duet version).
🔢 “How I Get” is composed with a straight rhythm in the common time. Accent strong beats.
🤚🏼 To reach intervals, twist your left hand. I added fingering, learn it by heart before anything else.
🏷️ Notice that the verses have irregular length.
