“Don’t Forget to Forget Me” is a heartfelt 2025 single by Anthony Neely (Xiao Yu). First performed at his “WHO YOU ARE” concert after an eight-year hiatus, the song quickly became a highlight with an emotional paper airplane ritual where fans released their unspoken words into the air. Written by Huang Wenxuan and composed/produced by Neely himself, the track portrays the paradox of wanting closeness yet fearing pain, choosing to let go while being unable to truly forget. Its arrangement avoids metronome corrections and relies on authentic, live performances, giving it a raw and genuine quality. More than just a love song, it symbolizes growth, self-healing, and learning to reconcile with the past through music.
