Mozart’s Wiener Sonatine VI is widely known today as part of the piano repertoire, yet its musical origins are closely connected with music for wind ensemble. Drawing upon this background, this arrangement presents the work through the warm, balanced, and expressive sound of a clarinet trio.

In this arrangement, each of the three clarinets has an independent musical voice rather than simply serving as melody or accompaniment. The instruments often share melodic phrases, exchange short motifs, and respond to one another, creating a natural sense of musical dialogue.
