Elgar's love song complete, as a true duet for violin and cello at intermediate level (about 3–4 years of playing) — no piano needed.
The full piece, 100 bars: both themes, the F major middle section and the coda, about 2–3 minutes.
The violin plays Elgar's original part with his bowing; the cello takes the theme twice — in the second verse, under a new violin countermelody, and again in the coda.
Violin up to 3rd position (one E6); cello in first position with a few extensions, bass clef only (D2–D4).
Fingering at the start of every phrase and at every shift or extension; slurs, accents and dynamics marked in full.
The cello opens and closes the piece with the same lilting afterbeat figure — easy to start together and easy to end.
Perfect for weddings, Valentine's Day, recitals and string duos.
Includes: Score + Violin part + Cello part.
