Description
Arrangement for Violin and Piano.
“Moon River,” composed by Henry Mancini, was the theme song for the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Its beautiful melody and poetic lyrics, immortalized by Audrey Hepburn’s voice, have captured the hearts of many.
In this arrangement for solo instrument and piano, the expressive solo line and the piano part with subtly varied harmonies are featured, while a relaxed tempo is maintained to respect the gentle atmosphere of the original.
In the slightly extended interlude, imagine a great river and perform with a broad, flowing sense.
In the latter half, the solo part departs from the original melody, and it is important to shape the delicate figures with clear, singing expression.
