Черемшина (Cheremshyna) - Kvitka Cisyk 🇺🇦 Kvitka Cisyk

"Черемшина" ("Cheremshyna"), also known as "Spring's Song" is a Ukrainian-language song-romance. The song was first released in 1965, with music by Vasyl Mykhailyuk and lyrics by Mykola Yuriychuk. The first performer of the song was Dmytro Hnatyuk. Since then, this song has been performed by many Ukrainian, and not only, performers. However, for my cover, I decided to make a piano cover for the version of Kvitka Cisyk (Kasey Cisyk), an American of Ukrainian origin. Her version of Cheremshyna was included in the album "Two Colors", and in my opinion, this version best conveys the essence of the Ukrainian character and is permeated with notes of the majestic Carpathian mountains. "Cheremshyna" means in Ukrainian choke cherry and it grows mainly in the Carpathian region of Ukraine. So enjoy my piano cover of this beautiful, lyrical song and pleasant watching and playing!
