Self-Portrait in Autumn (from Seasons)

Great visual artists like Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Munch… have painted numerous self-portraits in oil, I painted myself in music. Although music is invisible, it vividly portrays emotions and grasps delicate changes of mood. 

This was a piece that I composed while I was a student in London. The melody came to me just one go in a lonesome autumn evening. It somehow depicts my mindset of that moment, and I named it as a Self-Portrait.

雖看不見形貌，音樂直接深入情感中心，

彩繪多樣心境與最細微的思緒…
