Overall, I played the piano on my own. So I play a lot of bass.
When you don't have a base, use this method. It'll be a great tip.
Take a look at the rhythm throughout the song and divide it into song form.
How the first and second verses are different. How the verse and chorus are different.
When the verse, chorus, and bridge were repeated, how they developed it.
It's good to train yourself to think and play like this~ :)
I made a simple leaf with the intro.
It's a simple riff, but it's full of octaves, but the bass is a part of it. It's also in the last chorus.
That's where the intro comes from.
Focus on the internal part of song when it comes to the verse. A single chord in one bar can give you a different feeling with a change in tolerance. Can you feel these changes? Then, compare the first and second verse.~
There's a change in the line, not in the rhythm.
When I repeated the bridge, I played the ad-lib line on an octave.
The following chorus plays the bass at eight beats compared to the previous chorus.~
Do you think I'm running more? And in the last chorus it's played on an octave, and it goes perfectly well with the intro.
Listen to it, play it, play it. Going back and forth, comparing, checking...
Just think of it as just a natural process. Even if every step of the research seems to be nothing...
That's where it all starts.
Thank you for all HeavenPiano's accompanists who praise with accompaniment to know the great Lord.
