Guitar TAB set for both the lead and backing parts of ZAZEN BOYS’ “Honnoji.”
The phrases have been transcribed faithfully to the original song, and for both parts—including phrasing positions, chord shapes, fingerings, and the division of phrases—
we have reproduced the band’s performance as accurately as possible based on available video footage.
Furthermore, due to the nature of the song, section transitions can be difficult to discern,
so I have marked checkpoints at natural breaks and included the song’s elapsed time to make it easier to follow the progression.
Regarding the BPM notation, please note that the tempo changes between sections and fluctuates within sections as well,
so please consider these figures as rough guidelines only.
