This is the first song that plays from the Kdrama "Encounter" when troubled CEO Cha Soo Hyun decides to trust optimistic and carefree Jin Hyuk (exactly the moment she places her hands in his), taking up his invitation to dance to music in faraway Cuba. Naturally, the tone of this song also promises hope for their relationship and future despite the many obstacles in their way. Even the lyrics of the song "A day like a painting, a night like a movie [...] you and a beautiful day" reads like the poetry that they both love so much.

I actually started on this song before we ended up flying back to the US in August; picking it up again after working on the three main songs that took my fancy from "The King's Affection"... cause y'know it's bad practice not to finish anything you start. The initial difficulty in playing this song is streamlining your internal beat throughout the song, so to speak, as the song progresses from crochets to quavers then back and forth between quavers and semiquavers, and added to that the syncopations and off beats (don't we love them!). For me, it helps to imagine the final section playing before starting the song itself.
