아이를 기다리며 운동장을 거닐다가 문득 터져나온 가사와 선율을 적어보았습니다.

"너의 작은 걸음, 누군가는 작다 말하지 하지만 너의 그 첫 걸음은 그 누구보다 크고 크지".

걸음마 연습을 하는 둘째 아이를 향한 저의 마음이었는데 이 노래를 부르면 부를수록 제 스스로를 향한 위로와 격려와 메시지로 느껴졌습니다. 이 노래가 저에게 뿐 아니라 여러분의 마음 어느 한 곳에 닿아 작은 위로가 되기를 진심으로 바랍니다.

While waiting for my child, I was walking around the playground when some lyrics and a melody came to me, and I wrote them down.

"Your Little steps, some may say they're small, but that very first step of yours is bigger and greater than anything else."

They were words from my heart to my second child, who is learning to take their first steps. But the more I sing this song, the more it feels like a message of comfort, encouragement, and reassurance to myself as well.
