7月といえば、海へ出かけたい季節。

どこまでも続く海の向こうに、何があるのかとロマンを感じた子供の頃。

小さい悩みなんか忘れて、心の中も大きく広くなっていくようですね。

中級

ベースラインを鳴らしたまま、ハーモニーを奏でるという少し難しい伴奏形を使用しました。

伴奏形が細かい音符で動いていますが、ゆったりした波の動きがベースラインにあることを感じながら、

また3拍子の動きでも波を感じながら、ペダルも大いに使用しておおらかな気持ちで演奏して欲しいです。

Umi (The Sea)

July is the season that makes you want to go to the sea.

As children, we felt a sense of romance wondering what might lie beyond the endless horizon.

It’s as if our small worries fade away and our hearts grow wider and more open.

Intermediate Level:

This arrangement uses a slightly more advanced accompaniment pattern, where the bass line is held while the harmony moves above it.

Although the accompaniment is written in smaller note values, please play with a broad and relaxed feeling—sensing the gentle motion of the waves in the bass line and in the 3/4 pulse.

Use the pedal generously and perform with an open, expansive mood.
