"Heavy Is The Crown"

The track is transcribed in the original key, B Minor, and uses power chords from Bm F♯m A Em G D and non-harmonic C E B. I used the tremolo sign instead of writing out eight notes. You can also play power chords with three notes instead of two.

The vocals are typed using a 𝄠 suboctave clef (the treble clef with the numeral 8 below it). Play the right hand one octave lower than written after the suboctave clef.

"Heavy Is The Crown" is composed with a straight rhythm in common time.

Notice triplets in the string sample (intro).

The left-hand texture is thick and makes great use of the bass register.

The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong: a predominant vocal style is staccato.
