The track is transcribed in the original key, B Minor transitioned into F Major, and uses basic major and minor chords. The original ballad from an animated movie Tarzan changed key every phrase.

The progression is static to convey an African-monophony vibe.

“You'll Be In My Heart” is composed with straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats.
