“TURiSTA Sheet Music”

A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of “TURiSTA ” with its layered vocal and digitally generated guitar inflections.

The track is transcribed in the original key, D Flat Major, and uses inverted extended major and minor chords.

Alterations to the chord change create harmonic ambiguity and secondary colors.

Friction between melody and harmony leads to a blurring of the harmonic center.

The progression is static and lacks a prominent cadential gesture.

The vocals are typed one octave higher than Bad Bunny sings. Play the right hand at written pitch but sing one octave lower than written.

“TURiSTA ” is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats. There are many triplets which is customary for Hispanic music.

The composition is unusual: after a tender intro the song starts with the chorus followed by two verses and the bridge before the final chorus.

Avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning; you will fail immediately and abandon the score.

The left-hand imitates guitar's part. Experienced players with big and strong hands can add more notes in the chords. Otherwise it is very tiring to play full chords (as on the guitar track) so I reduced the chords to one note.

The right hand imitates vocal delivery by Bad Bunny: a predominant articulation is tenuto.

There are many places of an indefinite pitch with sudden changes of direction that I notated as I please.

Notice tremolo, arpeggiato (𝆃), fermata (𝄐) and long breaks 𝄓.
