Underneath The Tree (With lyrics and chords)-Kelly Clarkson

An accurate transcription for easy piano notated precisely as it should be performed to reduce ambiguity. Lyrics and vocables ("ah-ah"s) are always included in my sheet music because I think we should always sing while playing piano (even when playing classical pieces). Harmony chords above the upper stave are for those who want to make their own arrangements by breaking chords in arpeggios or other patterns in the left hand.

The chorus is colored blue for your convenience. I notate verses/choruses differently because in modern pop-music they are arranged differently purely for the aesthetic enjoyment of variation.

Please, notice that I doubled note values to make sightreading easier for beginners.

"Underneath The Tree" is a song with a homophonic arrengement — the instrumental part provides a harmony to support the vocal but lacks its own melody. Piano is an instrument that can play a melody and an accompaniment simultaneously.

The key is E Flat Major. The dynamics is forte throughout the song, for some reason Kelly chose this style. I recommend you spare your palms and play softly.

A chord change creates a meaningful harmonic pull that draw sonic parallels to a conventional pop Christmas song by being extended to seventh notes.

Vocal in the original track is sinuous and complex, marked by subtle bends and slides, with intense ornamentation. It is impossible to convey on piano with a fixed pitch of the keys. A predominant vocal style is legato. You can omit playing green notes (the second voice).

Of course I consider filling your requests of sheet music except for not popular tracks.
